Do you have questions left about your own upcoming Outback Australia trip? Need more information? Ask your question here and I will try to answer it.
You can also browse through questions that other readers have asked and read the answers they received.
If you have a question related to a specific are, like for example Kakadu or Ayers Rock, also check the reader pages there.
You can also add your own comments and tips to their questions! There is no registration required. Everybody can jump in here.
I try to help as much as possible and would like to answer all messages I receive. In the past I did and I still try to keep up, but the site has grown a lot. This is a one woman operation and there are only 24 hours in a day.
Due to the volume of traffic and submissions I can't guarantee that you will get an answer.
1. This site has a lot of information on it. Please look through it before you ask. (Use the search box below to help you with that.) If your question is answered on the site already and you catch me at a busy time, then I may not answer it.
2. This is a travel guide, not a travel agency. I am not affiliated with any agents. I have nothing to do with the tourism industry. I don't recommend or sell tours and I will not prepare your itinerary for you.
3. I get many questions along the lines of, "I want to visit Australia (drive from Sydney to Ayers Rock, drive from Darwin to Cairns...), please tell me everything I need to know. Where should I start, what should I see, what will it cost, help me find a job etc.
I don't answer general questions like that. I'd have to write a whole website to do so. Hang on, I already did that!
Please read the site and use the search box first, then ask.
If there really is no answer to your question on the site, and the topic is of interest to others as well, you usually receive a comprehensive answer very quickly!
4. And last but not least, questions unsuitable for publication here (e.g. too specific to be of interest to others) I try to answer via email if time allows.
But I can only answer via email if you provide your email! To increase your chances to receive an answer, please don't forget to provide your email (when choosing your notification options on the bottom of the next page), and make double sure that there is no typo in it. Don't worry, it will not be published or ever get used for anything else.
That's it. If you have any Australian Outback related questions that you think I can help with, fire away!
Fill in the form below to ask your question, and check back soon to view the answers and comments!
