Florence Falls in Litchfield National Park

Florence Falls in Litchfield National Park

We visited Litchfield in May 2007. It was quite busy, but not crowded. All waterfalls were flowing strongly, the track to one of the smaller ones was closed because it was still flooded.

There was no swimming in Wangi Falls because crocs could still make their way in. It was well worth it just for the swim at Buley Rockholes.

Note for Florence Falls - there were some nibbley little fishies in the pool. They don't hurt as much as give you a fright if you're not expecting it.

Thanks for writing, Tracey. Nibbley fishies are better than nibbley crocs, I guess :-).
